Office removals in Richmond
Commercial moves planned around your trading hours and the town’s parking — the office down for the shortest stretch, people working again fast.
A business move is measured in downtime. The furniture matters, but what really counts is how quickly your people can sit back down and get on. That’s what we plan for — the shortest sensible interruption, not just a van and a date.
Planned around your working week
Richmond’s commercial space is a mix — offices and studios around the town centre and the Quadrant, professional suites near the station, and units towards the riverside and Mortlake. Wherever you are, we phase the move so trading isn’t caught in the middle: an evening or weekend switch where that helps, a room-by-room plan for a bigger floor, and a clear running order everyone can follow.
IT, desks and the awkward bits
We label and crate the contents, dismantle and rebuild the desking, and handle the IT — disconnected properly at one end and reconnected at the other. Meeting-room kit, storage walls and the odd oversized item that won’t fit the lift are planned in advance rather than discovered on the day.
Storage that flexes with the fit-out
New premises rarely line up perfectly with the old lease. If the fit-out runs on, or you’re downsizing and need to hold furniture and records, we’ll store it securely and return it when you’re ready.
One point of contact, insured throughout
You get one person coordinating the move, a written quote from a proper walk-round, and full insurance confirmed in writing. If the business is relocating further afield — including into Europe — we can plan that too.
Can you move us out of hours so we don’t lose trading?
Yes — evenings and weekends are often the sensible choice, and easier for parking and access around the town centre. We plan the timing around your working week so the office is down for the shortest possible stretch.
Do you handle IT and equipment?
We do. Workstations, screens, servers and comms get disconnected, protected, moved and reconnected in the right spots, so people can sit down and work rather than untangle cables.
What about furniture and records we don’t need yet?
We can store surplus desks, furniture, stock and archived records for as long as you need, and bring them back when the new space is ready — so you’re not paying for room you can’t yet use.
